The MVA publishes $120.50, $125.50 and $191.50 with the yearly $40 emergency medical services surcharge already added, so the pure registration fee is $80.50, $85.50 and $151.50. Adding the surcharge again would overcharge you by $40. Maryland lets you register for one, two or three years, and a multi-year registration is simply the annual fee multiplied. Md. Transp. § 13-413 — “The fee for a multiyear registration is the same as the annual registration fee established under this title multiplied by the number of years for which the registration is issued.”
